Terms and Conditions

Response Rate

Extra Characters

Our Team aim to get back to you within 72 hours. After we have responded to your original request you have 48 hours to confirm your booking. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours you will lose your party slot. We do not hold dates.

All party packages include two fairytale characters. If you would like to add even more magic to your party/event an additional charge will be required. 

1 Hour Package added character: 50.00 euro

90 Minute Package added character: 65.00 euro

Parties outside of Dublin 

A distance of 50km or further outside of Dublin is subject to a 90 minute package no less.


In order to secure your booking on your requested date and time a deposit of €75 will be charged. The remaining balance will be payable on the day.


Should you wish to cancel your booking you must do so 7 days prior to the agreed party date to receive your deposit back. Cancellations made any less than 7 days prior to the party will not be refunded.


In the unlikely event that Once Upon a Time Parties cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances your deposit will be refunded. Once Upon a Time Parties will aim to provide as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation on our behalf.

Travel/Fuel Charges

All parties and events will require additional travel/fuel charges. If issues arise with county events of any sort, Road works or notified traffic delays we will require an additional travel and service charge. 

Party Attendees

Our party bundles cater to a maximum of 20 children. If the number of attendees exceeds 20 (even by 1 child), additional staff will be required to maintain a safe ratio of children to adults. In this case, an additional charge will be required in order to cover an additional member of staff. The additional charge where applicable will be disclosed in our response to your original submission.


In order to avoid additional costs we recommend to keep your party to the minimum number of attendees stated above.


Where not disclosed to Once Upon a Time Parties prior the the event, upon arrival if there are more than 20 children we reserve the right to leave the location and your deposit will not be refunded.

On the Day

Once Upon a Time Parties do request parent/guardian supervision for children of all ages throughout the party. Our team are there to create a fun, magical experience with plenty of fun activities to keep your children entertained. Please note our hosts and performers are there solely for entertainment purposes and will not cover toilet runs/supervision for children of any age. 

Set Up

Our team aims to arrive 15-20 minutes before your party slot to set up. We request a small area near a plug socket to be cleared for our host to set up a small table, bubble machine, speaker and to store carrier boxes.


In the unlikely event that Once Upon a Time Parties is running late due to reasons beyond our control we guarantee consistent updates until arrival at the location.


Alterations to party layout due to timing, space or children’s engagement/behaviour will be at the discretion of Once Upon a Time Parties.

Our Staff

Once Upon a Time Parties do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour towards our staff or performers. We reserve the right to remove staff from environments we do not deem safe and in situations where our staff are being mistreated.

Our Equipment

Once Upon a Time Parties reserve the right to charge for any damage to our costumes and/or equipment as a result of accidents.
